Bhumlichok is a peaceful rural village in Gandaki Rural Municipality, Gorkha, located about 95 km from Kathmandu along the Prithvi Highway. From Fishling, you can either drive or enjoy a scenic 3–4 hour walk through forests and villages to reach this hidden destination.

Stretching from 287 meters at the Trishuli River to 1652 meters at Bhairabi Tar, Bhumlichok offers a unique combination of Himalayan views, river valleys, terraced landscapes, and rich cultural life.


Culture and Local Lifestyle

Bhumlichok is home to diverse communities including Magar, Chepang (Praja), Gurung, Newar, Chhetri, Kami, and Damai. This cultural diversity makes the village rich in traditions, beliefs, and daily practices.
